The South Australian capital will be buzzing over the July-August period, with music and culinary offerings the flavour of the month.

Winter Island Festival 2017

Get down to the Producers for a celebration of live Australian music on Friday 14 July. The Winter Island Festival will include a sand covered dancefloor and beach vibes as a backdrop to some of the state’s best local artists.

Aussie hip hop

If you’re a fan of Australian hip hop, then Adelaide is the place for you in the next few weeks. Catch Spit Syndicate at the Fat Controller on Friday 14 July, or save your pennies to see Horrorshow at The Gov on Saturday 15 July.

Adelaide Beer and BBQ Festival

A three day-event at the Adelaide Showground, this is a perfect fit for beer and meat enthusiasts. With over 50 exhibitors and some of the state’s best chefs, the Adelaide Beer and BBQ Festival is not to be missed.


There is no shortage of activities in Perth, ranging from sport and music to the theatre.

AFL Western Derby

With both Western Australian teams still battling for a spot in the top eight, the derby between West Coast and Fremantle promises to be an outstanding contest. If you’re new to AFL, this clash at Domain Stadium on Sunday 16 July is the ideal way to witness your first game.


Following his chart topping debut album Gang Signs & Prayer, English grime and hip-hop sensation Stormzy will take centre stage at Metro City on Thursday 20 July. The award winning, 23-year-old artist will then back it up the next day at Splendour in the Grass 2017.


The celebrated live-production of Aladdin has finally landed in Perth. From the producers of the Lion King, this Disney classic is ultra-popular, so try and grab a ticket to the show at Crown Theatre as soon as possible!
