Structure
16 coursework units (each with on-campus and online components), 2 applied research units undertaken on a negotiated project, an in depth placement taken over 2 consecutive terms with 240 hours in total of placement (including 80 hours of client contact), and an additional 24 hours of clinical supervision provided in small groups.

Study pathways
Students who have completed ACAP's 2 year Graduate Diploma of Counselling, a 4-year full-time APAC-accredited Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) or a 4-year full-time AASW accredited degree Bachelor of Social Work (Honours), are eligible for up to 50% credit in the Masters course (1 year full-time).
