  • Work-Integrated Learning is emphasised in this course. Regular site visits are arranged by the department. Students are also encouraged to make their own arrangements for gaining experience in the building industry. This can be undertaken during vacations or in employment while studying as a part-time student and shall be recorded in an official logbook.

Graduates will be eligible for corporate membership to the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and Board of Quality Surveyors Malaysia after fulfilling experience requirements. Accreditation for corporate membership of the Australian Institute of Quality Surveyors is being sought. The professional bodies have provisions for student membership and students are advised to take advantage of such opportunities.
