The Master of Education Studies builds on your strengths and experience in organisations where educational practices play a key role. You will engage in contemporary debates and explore developments in your areas of interest so you are prepared to lead educational practice, policy and research in a range of educational contexts. You can choose to complete the course via coursework or a combination of coursework and research. In the coursework pathway you choose from a range of units relevant to your background and goals, including but not limited to units that subjects that explore teaching and learning in local and global contexts, digital learning and teaching, the purpose of education, feedback, assessment and reporting. You will have the opportunity to explore topics of interest to you in directed reading projects. You have the choice to complete the masters degree with a professional inquiry capstone project or a research pathway combining coursework with a minor thesis.
