This program delivers further advanced leadership training that enhances the ongoing professional development of the practising minister as well as those who are training for ministry. Students are trained to do independent research on an area or topic related to Christian ministry leading to a 60,000 word thesis. This enables them to make a special contribution to learning about ministry and to continue such investigation after they graduate.

Standard entry requirements

  • An MA in Ministry, Theology, Divinity or Biblical Studies, including a research project of 12,000 words or more
  • Or a 4-year bachelor's degree in Ministry, Theology, Divinity or Biblical Studies with at least second class honours, or a 3-year degree in one of those disciplines plus an approved Graduate Diploma in Ministry which includes a research thesis at the level of at least second class honours
  • Or A Masters degree in another discipline including at least a 12,000 words research project plus 4 units of Theology or Ministry at Graduate level with at least a credit average
