The highly practical Master of Cyber Security Analysis - developed in consultation with cybersecurity experts from government and industry - is designed to directly address the cybersecurity skills gap in Australia and overseas by training the next generation of policy and strategic thinkers in cybersecurity. The Master of Security and Strategic Studies will prepare you to analyse contemporary security, defence and strategic challenges. Youll learn about the dynamics behind major geopolitical and geostrategic issues, and about multidimensional non-traditional security challenges; and youll extend your knowledge of analytical methods to evaluate strategic choices, and the evolution of Australias interests and strategy.

Standard entry requirements

  • AQF level 8 bachelor honours or graduate diploma qualification in a related field or recognised equivalent or
  • Meet two of the following three criteria: AQF level 7 bachelors qualification in a related field or recognised equivalent
  • Minimum two years relevant approved work experience at senior management level, professional certification or other recognised prior learning
  • AQF level 7 bachelors qualification or recognised equivalent with a WAM of 65
  • AQF level 8 bachelor honours or graduate diploma qualification in a related field or recognised equivalent, or
  • Meet two of the following three criteria: AQF level 7 bachelors qualification in a related field or recognised equivalent
