The Bachelor of Health Sciences allows you to apply scientific approaches to improve health challenges, keeping in mind physiological, behavioural, developmental, social and environmental aspects of human health. This course comprises 144 points, of which 12 points are foundation studies, 72 are health science units and 60 points are available for free electives.

Study pathways

All applicants must satisfy the equivalence of the VCE subject prerequisites. University: Two single units at an Australian higher education institution satisfy minimum entry requirements if the student has not undertaken a formal program of study at or above VCE Yr 12 (or equivalent). Applicants should have at least a minimum 60% average in their studies. Students with a complete or partially complete Bachelor qualification will be considered for entry. TAFE/VET: Graded AQF Diplomas will be considered for entry into this course. Admission will be based on academic merit and applicants should have at least a minimum 60% average. Ungraded (competent/not competent) diplomas will not be considered. Qualifications below diploma level will not meet the entry requirements (e.g. Cert IV).
