The Honours degree in paramedicine takes your capabilities to the next level and is designed to develop graduates who will contribute to research in the four key focus areas: advancing paramedic practice, enhancing paramedic education, improving paramedic wellbeing, and expanding paramedics' roles in health services.
Structure
- This course consists of supervised research and coursework components.
- You can commence in either first or second semester.
- Full-time students complete PAR4001 and PAR4002 in their first semester of study and PAR4003 in their second semester.
- Part-time students complete PAR4001 and PAR4002 in year one and PAR4003 in year two.
Standard entry requirements
Entry to this Honours degree will require completion of all requirements of the award of the pass degree of the Bachelor of Paramedicine (or equivalent), with an average of 70% or higher in at least 24 credit points at third year level . For acceptance into the Honours degree, applications from the graduates of the Monash Bachelor of Paramedic Studies or graduates with paramedic degrees from other universities will need to demonstrate that they have achieved the appropriate academic standard to the above.
