Structure
The course develops through the six themes, the first three being Structure and Function of the Body, Drug Structure, Disposition and Action, and Professional Practice, which come together in the final three themes, Comprehensive Care, Inquiry and Innovation and Professional Experience respectively. This course will develop the relevant practical and analytical skills you require for pharmacy practice, as well as your generic skills such as oral and written communication, critical thinking, inquiry, learning for life, numeracy and information literacy and leadership.

Standard entry requirements
- At the time of enrolment in a course at Monash University, you must be at least 17 years of age.
- All Monash undergraduate courses require you to have successfully completed a minimum of an Australian Year 12 qualification (or equivalent) and achieve the required academic entry score. Most Monash faculties generally use your most recent studies for admission however other guidelines may apply where your prior qualification may be considered.
Recognition
Australian Pharmacy Council. The Pharmacy Board of Australia requires graduates to undertake a year of supervised training (which will be completed in the fifth year of the course), followed by a registration examination in order to become a registered pharmacist.
