The world of business is increasingly global, whether it is through the sourcing of goods, selling to international customers, partnering with international companies or just dealing with an increasingly international and intercultural workforce and customer base. The Bachelor of Business – International is designed to enhance students’ international knowledge and intercultural skills through the embedding of intercultural skills and by requiring you to live and study in an international setting. Whether it is by studying business from a different cultural perspective or by undertaking an intensive cultural immersion program, you will have a set of skills that will take you further. Employers are looking for graduates with a difference and recent international surveys have shown that more than 50 per cent are looking for employees who can bring an international experience to their job.
Structure
Students must complete 9 core business units, 8 units in their chosen major and 7 optional units comprising a second major, minor or extension of their choice. In addition students complete 1 year full-time at an approved overseas partner institution.

Standard entry requirements
- Year 12 or equivalent
- Before you start this course, we assume you have sound knowledge of the subject/s listed below. If you don't have the subject knowledge, you can still apply for the course but we strongly encourage you to undertake bridging studies to gain the knowledge: English, or Literature, or English and Literature Extension, or English as an Additional Language (Units 3 & 4, C). And for Accountancy, Finance, Financial Planning, Economics and Marketing majors: General Mathematics, or Mathematical Methods, or Specialist Mathematics (Units 3 & 4, C).
