Kelvin Grove - Foundation Studies
QUTIC has over 30 years of experience in helping students develop key English skills essential for personal, academic and professional success. QUTIC is one of the few colleges in Australia that is fully owned and operated by the university. This is important, because as a university college we can offer you the following:
You will be part of QUT community from day one. Located at the Kelvin Grove campus, QUTIC is an integral part of QUT. You will receive a QUT student ID, which will give you access to all of the university’s facilities across two campuses. Our community offers lifestyle and social opportunities, which will help you enjoy a richer cultural experience.
All QUTIC programs undergo regular review and are continually updated to ensure educational standards of the highest quality are maintained. We believe that no other pathway provider can rival the quality of our offering.
Our small class sizes will give you more opportunities to interact with teachers and students, which will help you transition into study in Australia. You will receive academic and personal support from our friendly Language and Learning Advisors and Welfare Advisors to help you adjust to studying and living in Brisbane. After classes, our Activities Club will help you make friends, get to know Brisbane and have fun.
The College is located on QUT campus with its own buildings and facilities. Students are also welcome to use all three libraries, 24-hour computer labs, medical centres, the FIFA approved football stadium, and other QUT facilities.
We have a very high progression rate from QUTIC programs to faculty. Over 93 per cent of our Diploma and Foundation graduates progress into their chosen QUT programs. You will receive the best possible preparation, and develop the confidence and necessary skills to succeed in both your future academic study and professional life.
Start at the College for a better chance to do well in both your degree and your future career.

They also provide confidential counselling and support if you need to talk to someone about your study, finances or personal problems.

There is always something exciting to do, including the Music Club, cooking classes, sporting events, basketball, table tennis, yoga and day trips to places around Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Byron Bay.
Students in the Mentorship Program help with orientation activities and support new students as they arrive and adjust to living and studying in Australia. Through the program, current students benefit by developing their leadership skills and new students can feel supported and make new friends.
