Standard entry requirements
An Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent), or higher level qualification in any discipline from a recognised tertiary institution with a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 1.0 (out of 4.0). OR An Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent), or higher level qualification in any discipline from a recognised tertiary institution and a GMAT overall minimum score of 550. An Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent), or higher-level qualification, in a business or related discipline from a recognised tertiary institution with a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 1.0 (out of 4.0) OR An Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent), or higher level qualification in a business or related discipline from a recognised tertiary institution and a GMAT overall minimum score of 550. OR The RMIT Graduate Certificate in Business Administration.
Recognition
Depending on courses undertaken and experience, graduates may be eligible for associate or full membership of a number of professional bodies: Australian Human Resources Institute, Australian Institute of Management, Australian Institute of Training and Development, Industrial Relations Society of Victoria.
Study pathways
Upon successful completion of the Graduate Certificate in Business Administration students will be admitted to the Master of Business Administration (MBA) which requires the successful completion of a further eight courses. Advanced standing if students have completed an Australian bachelor degree or equivalent, or higher level qualification, in a business (or related) discipline from a recognised tertiary institution, they will receive exemptions from the four business enabling courses.
