Southern Cross University is ranked in the Top 150 Young Universities in the world by Times Higher Education and is the number one university in Australia for international student support (2018 International Student Barometer).
I chose to study at Southern Cross University because I felt it was a well-reputed educational institution in terms of international student support. Being the President of the Student Representative Council (SRC) has allowed me to keep in touch constantly with all the students. We offer support so that students can seek help and advice from their fellow students. We work as a mediator between the administration and the students and deliver our suggestions to Southern Cross University’s management. The student activities that we have organised are very popular among students. I am privileged to be a part of SRC as it has developed my leadership, interpersonal and communications skills.

This first session was very intense for me; however, I found a lot of help with the lectures and the staff are encouraging and supportive all the time. The staff at Southern Cross University are awesome. From the lecturers to the administrative staff, everyone is looking for avenues to support your success. I am specialising in entrepreneurship in my MBA and the way that staff support students doing this specialisation is what I love most about my course.
