Standard entry requirements

  • Applicants at the Masters level must satisfy the following requirements: A recognised three-year Bachelor degree with a minimum average score of 60 per cent
  • Or Completion of the Postgraduate Qualifying Program (International Applicants only) with a minimum average score of 60%.

Study pathways

Credit is granted in recognition of previous study and/or experience and allows students to gain advanced standing towards their course. Applicants are assessed on a case-by-case basis. On successful completion of the Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma of Media and Communication, students may be eligible to progress to the Master of Media and Communication and may be given full credit for the units completed towards the Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma of Media and Communication. Domestic applicants with more than five years' industry experience in a media discipline or who have successfully completed an undergraduate degree in a cognate discipline may be eligible for Advanced Standing of up to four units.
