The Master of Professional Accounting equips you with industry skills and knowledge, preparing you for senior roles where your valuable insights and analysis will be required. Youll learn to apply advanced conceptual and practical accounting knowledge, while you forge strong industry connections.

To qualify for the award of Master of Professional Accounting (Extended), students must complete sixteen (16) units (200 credit points).

Standard entry requirements

  • Applicants are required to have completed one of the following - A recognised bachelor degree in any discipline
  • Or a Graduate Certificate of Professional Accounting * (For students without a recognised bachelor degree)
  • Or a completion of the Postgraduate Qualifying Program (International applicants only).

Recognition

Upon successful completion of the Master course, students may be eligible to apply for Associate membership of CPA Australia and Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ). Membership of CPA Australia and CAANZ depends on the student's previous undergraduate degree being assessed and final confirmation of eligibility will be provided by those bodies.
