Advanced research skills are highly valued in both academia and the commercial world, and the Business School is at the forefront of teaching business research methods. For your Graduate Diploma in Business Research Methods over one year full-time (or part-time equivalent), you can choose from a comprehensive range of elective courses that cover topics such as economics-based research in financial accounting, corporate finance theory, empirical methods in finance and capital markets research, and advanced marketing theory and research. Youll also work among internationally recognised leaders who are finding solutions to some of the worlds most pressing business issues. Under their experienced guidance, youll learn the qualitative and quantitative research skills and scientific methods required to conduct your own research project or complete a thesis, for which youll define a research question, establish a methodology, undertake a literature review and draw conclusions.

Complete 16 units comprising: 4 to 8 units from GDipBRM Flexible Core Courses, and At least 4 units from GDipBRM Research Courses, and 4 to 8 units from GDipBRM Elective Options

A bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in any discipline, or the Graduate Certificate in Business Research Methods from UQ.
