Bachelor of Arts / Bachelor of Communication - Advertising

University of Canberra

This program is for those who seek a professional qualification in Advertising but who also value the flexibility of a general education in the liberal arts. It combines communication and media studies with thorough education in the theories, issues and skills pertaining to the Advertising industry. The addition of a liberal arts specialisation extends the intellectual knowledge base and critical thinking skills and thus improves graduates' employment prospects. Graduates find employment in either the creative or account management side of advertising agencies, the media, and in advertising or marketing communication departments in public or private organisations.

By 2030, UC campus will be transformed into a series of precincts, focusing on growing national and international partnerships, and transformational research and learning. Developments include an aged care facility, a cancer care centre and an innovation park. These facilities are being integrated into teaching and research, providing exciting new opportunities for the university and surrounding community.
