At the completion of their studies, students will have a critical understanding and knowledge of the investigative and analytical concepts as they apply to specific areas of forensic science. Students will be able to apply their knowledge to the collection, processing and analysis of evidence associated with these areas of specialisation. They will have the skills to be flexible and responsive to the broad range of situations that confront forensic investigators. Students will have the required knowledge to be able to work within the legal and regulatory requirements of the forensic professions and as expert witnesses. The course is part of a collaborative education partnership with the University of Florida, the University of Edinburgh, the University of Lausanne and Western Sydney University.
