During this course you'll develop a solid foundation of urban planning and planning regulation, learning to apply core knowledge and skills across a range of contexts. You have the choice of either full-time or part-time study, and will benefit from the flexible delivery mode with innovative approaches that are technology-facilitated, practice-based and research-led. You can choose to specialise in urban planning, or choose an urban design studio unit which focuses on building theory and draws on real-world scenarios. Structure
12 credit points. The course is delivered using a combination of flexible modes with traditional teaching methods comprising lectures, tutorials and workshops and field trips. A number of units are available in intensive mode. Online content for the core units will be progressively made available.

Students can progress directly from the Graduate Certificate in Urban Planning and Design to the Graduate Diploma in Urban Planning and Design.
