Standard entry requirements
- You have a minimum musical theory standard of, or equivalent to, Grade 4 of the Australian Music Examinations Board (AMEB) as demonstrated by music qualifications, or completion of the UNE online music theory test.
- You can pass a performance audition. This must include two contrasting musical works. The expected standard is Grade 6 of the AMEB or equivalent in any style. Alternatively, you may submit a music composition portfolio of two original and contrasting works.
- You can satisfy the Music discipline of your suitability for studying music through the completion of a Personal Statement assessed by the discipline within six months prior to the date of enrolment.
