Bachelor of Business and Commerce / Bachelor of Laws

University of Southern Queensland (USQ)

This double degree provides graduates with a diverse skill set across business, commerce and law. In the Bachelor of Business and Commerce students will benefit from USQ's close ties with industry and explore different approaches to ethical decision making, how to think creatively and analytically, and to communicate clearly and concisely in this professionally-oriented program. The Business and Commerce degree gives students the flexibility to combine one business area of interest with another to create the desired career. Students can choose to study two specialist fields (majors) or combine one specialist field with two other minor fields to broaden horizons. In the Bachelor of Laws students will learn about conflict and communication, negotiation and mediation, and develop skills for professional practice as a solicitor or barrister in Queensland or a legal practitioner elsewhere in Australia. This double degree also builds broader analytical, complex problem-solving and research skills used in a range of careers outside of legal practice.
