Bachelor of Spatial Science (Honours)

This program is practical, skill and knowledge based and allows students to adapt their study to their lives through external courses. Throughout the program, students will work with modern satellite based Global Navigation Satellite Systems and Geographic Information technologies, and get practical with surveying projects in land development and mining that will prepare them for their future career as a Surveyor or GIS Professional. In the final year, students will be given a chance to further develop their skills and explore the exciting final year research project. Previous students have produced projects in the fields of precise measurement, the effect of rising sea levels and accretion on boundaries and the use of satellite tracking in dynamic environments.
