The program encompasses and builds on the Graduate Certificate of Health and is designed for health professionals who wish to undertake specialised postgraduate health education to assist them to prepare for, or extend their practice, in a range of specialty areas. It provides depth in selected areas of specialisation, providing busy health professionals with the opportunity to develop and extend their skills and knowledge. Graduates of the Graduation Diploma of Health will be able to extend their education via further study at master's level.

Standard entry requirements

Completion of an Australian university three year Bachelor degree in a health related field, or equivalent AND English Language Proficiency requirements for Category 3. Rural & Remote specialisation: Be registered as a nurse in Division 1 of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) and must be able to demonstrate at least one years' full-time clinical experience. Applicants must provide a detailed CV including education, clinical experience, professional development, and full time equivalent for each employer. USQ requires written confirmation that the applicant is currently practicing as an RN and can complete required hours of clinical mentorship in their workplace. All students are required to satisfy the applicable English Language Requirements.
