Develop a range of specialist skills in science and computer science, leading to a career in scientific programming or scientific management. Throughout the Bachelor of Computer Science, you will study the theoretical foundations of computer science and IT, with the opportunity to specialise in a major. In your final year you will develop your own application as part of a team project developing solutions to real-world problems provided by our industry partners. The Bachelor of Science offers flexibility with the opportunity to begin your specialisation immediately, if you have decided on your major, or in second year after completing foundational subjects in first year. You will participate in practical classes in our purpose-built Sciences Teaching Facility, and you will complete an industry-linked research project tackling real problems.

  • Domestic: Recent secondary education students can gain admission to this course via non-ATAR or ATAR-based options.
  • International: Applicants need to have achieved the required score in a qualification equivalent to the completion of 13 years of schooling in Australia.
