The Master of Space Engineering is designed for those with a relevant background in engineering who wish to develop a high-level understanding of the principles and practices of engineering related to space systems, and to strengthen their skills in this area. Students undertake core study in space operations, space systems design and engineering, and global navigation satellite systems, and can select from arrange of elective study options including satellite communications, spaceborne imaging, information assurance principles, and requirements engineering. Students can also nominate to undertake a simulated design exercise, which explores engineering processes and management through real-life system development.

Students undertaking the MSpaceEng are required to take 8 coursework courses (48 UOC).
