This is a multidisciplinary program focused on solving the issues that confront one of Australia's biggest growth industries and an industry that touches our lives everyday: Food and Health. As the only food science and technology program in Australia with an embedded honours program, this degree combines food science, nutrition and chemical engineering principles, enabling the design of real world solutions to current and future global food and health challenges. This program is the only one in Australia with IFT accreditation (Institute of Food Technologists, USA), one of the worlds largest and most eminent professional bodies for food science, technology, nutrition and engineering resulting in global recognition for graduates of this degree.
