The Bachelor of Media Arts (BMA) is an innovative, industry-aligned and research-active program that provides students with a strong foundation across contemporary creative media and technology production including animation, video, sound and image, interactive, emergent and cross media technologies and systems.

Structure

The degree of Bachelor of Media Arts is awarded as a Honours degree at the completion of four years full-time study, which includes a research and internship component. The program consists of a Media Arts core that provides a depth of engagement with Media Arts studies and an Elective and General Education component that provides breadth of experience.

Standard entry requirements

  • Year 12
  • Certificate IV or higher qualification. Students with an ATAR (or equivalent rank) that is just below the expected cut-off have the opportunity to submit a portfolio.
