This course will help students develop the skills and knowledge in a range of Information Technology fields allowing them to progress their qualifications and careers in IT. Successful completion of the Diploma provides guaranteed entry into the second year of the Bachelor of Information Technology. In this program students will design databases, write computer programs in Python, schedule ICT development using Microsoft Project, connect databases to dynamic websites and use Linux and study towards CCNA.

Standard entry requirements

Successful completion of an Australian Senior Secondary Certificate (VCE or equivalent). ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS - INTERNATIONAL: Successful completion of an Australian Senior Secondary Certificate (VCE or equivalent) PLUS IELTS (or equivalent): Overall score of 5.5 with no band less than 5.0. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS - TAFE/VET: Any Certificate IV in Information Technology or equivalent. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS - MATURE AGE: Applicants with relevant work, education and/or community experience will be considered for admission to the course.
