Calver Family Scholarship

The Calver Family Scholarship was established in 2009 and is available for award to a student who is intending to enrol in an Honours course in the Environmental and Conservation AOU within the School of Veterinary and Life Sciences, with a research project focusing on animal ecology.

Eligibility

Applicants must: be Australian citizens or permanent residents; be enrolled full-time in a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Biological Sciences; Conservation and Wildlife Biology; Environmental Science; Environmental Management and Sustainability; Marine Sciences; be researching in the area of animal ecology; and have a record of high achievement in previous study or professional work.

Amount $10,000

Subject to the ongoing acceptance and compliance with the terms and conditions of the scholarship, payment will be made in the following instalments: $4,000 after the Semester 1 census date; $4,000 after the Semester 2 census date; and $2,000 upon the successful submission, and grading of your Honours thesis.
