Peter Gage Memorial Supplementary Scholarship in Membrane Physiology

The Peter Gage Supplementary Scholarship in Membrane Physiology is named in honour of Professor Peter William Gage, in recognition of his having been one of Australias leaders in membrane physiology, biophysics and neuroscience. Peter influenced and encouraged a great many research students, postdoctoral fellows and senior colleagues in their scientific careers. The objective of the Award is to encourage outstanding domestic or international candidates to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program in the field of medical sciences, based in the JCSMR.

Eligibility

is enrolled or will be enrolling full-time in a program of study for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy, based in the John Curtin School of Medical Research; has completed qualifications comparable to the educational level of an Australian Bachelor first class Honours degree, or has demonstrated research experience to a standard equivalent to an ANU first class Honours; has been awarded, and continues to hold, an approved ANU HDR base stipend scholarship at the minimum AGRTP base rate.
