Sally Muir graduated from UNE 1970 BRurScience (Hons). She completed a doctorate at Sydney University in 1991 and worked at the University of Western Sydney in Informatics, Science and Technology and later at the Department of Primary Industries, based in Tamworth. In 2017, the University received a generous bequest from Dr Muir to assist students undertaking postgraduate studies in Agricultural Studies.
Eligibility
Open to both International and Domestic students; Enrolment status of full-time / on campus is preferred, however, other enrolment status may be considered.; Open to commencing and continuing UNE students enrolled in Honours or Higher Research Degree. Honours is here defined as 48 credit point, full-year Honours research program.; The applicant must be completing research in the area of Agricultural studies.

The Scholarships are awarded by the Faculty of Science, Agriculture, Business and Law (SABL) HDR Scholarships Committee. The committees decision is final.
