Sir Terry Pratchett Memorial Scholarship

The Sir Terry Pratchett Memorial Scholarship is available to a commencing full-time Master of Research (MMRD) student enrolled through the University of South Australias Hawke Research Institute, and whose research topic fits within the Hawke Research Institute's theme of Identity Transformations and has societal relevance.

Eligibility

Applicants must: be commencing full-time Masters by Research (MMRD) student; be enrolled at the University of South Australia for commencement as soon as possible. The recipient's research field will be predominantly focused in the domain(s) relevant to and inspired by Sir Terry Pratchett's work.

Recipients of the scholarship on an International Student Visa may be responsible for covering the additional associated costs of undertaking Master of Research (MMRD) and the visiting scholarship to The Long Room Hub.

Amount $35,000

The scholarship provides up to $35,000 a year for a period of 2 years, consisting of fortnightly stipend payments, $5,000 per year for travel related expenses, $5,000 per year for accommodation related expenses, and full fee waiver for the duration of the Masters by Research program (2 years full-time).
