Neville A Whiffen Memorial Award

The Neville A Whiffen scholarship was established to assist students with disabilities to undertake study at UNSW.

Eligibility

Applicants must: be having a moderate to severe disability supported by documentation from a medical specialist. Preference will be given to applicants who are in receipt of a Centrelink allowance or austudy. The definition of disability is based on the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) 1992 and includes: deaf/hearing impairment; blind/vision impairment; physical disability; specific learning disability; psychiatric disability; acquired brain injury; or chronic medical conditions.

Amount $2,000

The scholarship is valued at $2,000 for 1 year.
