Study Psychology in Australia
If you’re interested in a career in psychology, Australia offers a number of pathways to accreditation. Students can choose from a four-year Bachelor of Psychology or may major in psychology (with honours) within an arts degree. After graduation, students must then complete a two-year postgraduate qualification or two years of supervised practical experience to become a registered psychologist. Even if you don’t go on to become a registered psychologist, Australian psychology degrees can offer a pathway to a career in a wide variety of fields, including advertising, market research, human resource management, teaching and social work. Postgraduate psychology programs offers students the chance to specialise, in areas such as clinical psychology, forensic psychology, organisational behaviour and neuropsychology.
