Study Teaching and Trainer Education in Australia

Education is a popular field of study in Australia, with specialisations widely available across the country. VET courses in the field prepare graduates for roles as a teaching assistant or education aide, while undergraduate courses allow students to become qualified teachers. Students can choose to specialise in a number of teaching areas - from early years, primary or secondary teaching to subject specialisations such as arts, languages, mathematics, physical education or science. Other specialisations include e-learning, educational leadership, gifted education, special education and teacher librarianship. Students may choose to specialise in a certain area of teaching by completing a specialist teaching qualification; combining study in education with an area of interest through a double degree; or by pursuing postgraduate study after first completing a degree in education or their area of specialisation.
